Tab Talks!

AUGUST 2008

Thank you for your terrific response to the release my book. It was overwhelming and I’m thrilled that so many of you have written and expressed your thoughts on how it touched you. It was a journey that I’m glad to have been able to share with all of you. Those Hollywood days are long gone and the movie industry will never again be like that. I often refer to that time of my life as “my past life.”

It looks like my book may be turned into a film. I am now waiting for a first draft of a screenplay which is to be delivered to me shortly. Have had several meetings with the writer and am fortunate to have him working on this project.

Regardless of the years spent in Hollywood I still remain optimistic and have always believed that somewhere under the pile of you know what, there has got to be a pony. And so, the process of mucking out continues.

Long before I ever got into films, horses were a major part of my life. I have been a competitor and a judge for years. Today I am the proud owner of a mare that I bred, named Harlow. She spent last year on the show circuit and ended the season with 4 championships and 2 reserves. Like a proud papa I’m attaching some shots of her.

    1. Working with Harlow as a 3 y.o.
    2. First season showing with Sarah Invicta Williams.
    3. R&R at the barn in California.

These days I’m spending more and more time working in the garden and at my computer trying to pull together another writing project entitled, “Taking Care Of Evelyn.” It’s the story of Evelyn Keyes and my friend, Allan Glaser and their amazing relationship. Unfortunately, dear Evelyn passed away on July 4th of this year at the age of 91. I will continue trying to capture her rich life on the page and do it justice. And what a great life it was!

I want to thank each and every one of you for your kind support and interest.

    Warm regards,
